The purpose of the Hindu Community in Ottawa Foundation is to unite, strengthen, and empower the Hindu community in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. Our primary aims are:
- Cultural Preservation: To preserve and promote Hindu culture, heritage, and traditions.
- Religious Education: To provide opportunities for learning and understanding Hinduism.
- Community Unity: To foster unity and a sense of belonging among diverse members of the Hindu community.
- Social Welfare: To contribute to the betterment of society through social welfare activities.
- Positive Change: To be a force for positive change in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario.
- Interfaith Respect: To promote interfaith harmony and respect for all religions.
- Non-Political and Non-Partisan: To maintain a non-partisan stance and remain unaffiliated with political or religious groups.
- Inclusive Membership: To welcome all individuals who share an interest in Hindu culture and Sanatana Dharma.
- Advocacy: To advocate for the interests and concerns of the Hindu community.
- Beacon of Hope: To channel our collective strength and resources for the betterment of our community, society, and country.
